Prospective Undergraduate Students
Many Loyola undergraduate students from a variety of majors and years of study volunteer to work in the Activity Matters Lab to gain valuable research experience. We encourage undergraduates in our lab to sign up for directed readings course credit their first semester in the lab. Students may also have the opportunity to conduct independent research projects under the supervision of Dr. Bohnert and her graduate students. We also have students doing their Honor's Theses, Research Mentoring Program, and Provost Fellowship research in the lab. Former students in our lab have gone on to medical school and graduate school in psychology.
To participate in the Activity Matters Lab you must have and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, be available for lab meetings on Thursday mornings, and be willing to commit a minimum of 8 hours a week for at least one academic year. We also have students who work with us during the summer and after they graduate.
